Minimum 3+ years development experience (most relevant is experience with JavaScript, Node.js, React and Mongo DB)
Familiarity integrating with REST APIs
Familiarity with automated testing at different levels of the test pyramid
Optimizing performance to scale to handle large quantities of content data and high volumes of traffic across numerous websites
Can-do positive attitude, proactive approach to problem solving
Happy to learn new technologies and share knowledge with teammates.
Excellent English Oral & Written communication skills is a must
Optional Requirements:
An excellent understanding of HTTP, caching and how the web works
Understanding of browsers, the DOM, and how to build rich user interfaces
Development experience in Redis will be an added bonus
Integration with GraphQL APIs.
Experience in iOS and Android App development using React Native is advantageous
Knowledge or experience of GCP and/or AWS (including access APIs)
Taking part in technology and architecture discussions, advocate for engineering best practices (CI/CD, testing, operational efficiency etc.)
Collaborate in UI/UX designs and discussions in developing/improving user experience and workflow
You will have experience working collaboratively within a diverse development team with a non-hierarchical structure, be self-directed and be happy to work on your own initiative.
Support continuous testing efforts through test automation
Push boundaries by researching on and adopting new technologies to enhance Ecologital's solutions & services.
Utilize problem-solving skills to identify areas of improvement and turn them into solid areas of development
