Job Description

The Manager – Marketing is a crucial role in helping to promote Student Placement business in Sri Lanka. You will be accountable for web traffic, enquiries, and qualified leads for Student Placement business in Sri Lanka.

You will work with Country Director – Sri Lanka and collaborate with respective IELTS & Student Placement in country teams in Sri Lanka to create and carry out successful digital marketing strategies to increase revenueand profits. Additionally, you will be responsible for making sure that organic search and social media marketingefforts are successful by coordinating with respective team members.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing digital marketing strategies, improve the return on investment and increase the company's market share.

Responsibilities:

• Strategize & execute Paid search and paid social campaigns to generate SP leads and promote SP events.
• Manage and optimize paid search, pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns to increase website traffic and improve online visibility.
• Coordinate email marketing campaigns with respective team members to engage with prospects.
• Collaborate with call centre teams for qualification review and quality threshold monitoring.
• Analyse data to help in making data-driven decisions to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all marketing initiatives are aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
• Stay up to date with the latest digital marketing trends and technologies to bring new ideas and innovations to the team.
• Manage budgets and resources effectively to maximize results.
• Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
• Represent at suitable places to share performance and strategies. 
• Weekly/monthly/ad-hoc reporting.
• Plan, organize, and execute events from concept to completion.
• Coordinate logistics, vendor management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Support branches in local event execution and marketing activities.
• Conduct detailed post-event evaluations, including ROI, lead conversion, and participant feedback.
• Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Track and generate leads through events and campaigns.
• Develop strategies to maximize conversion and retention.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a proven track record of success in driving online business and improving online conversion rates.
• Hands-on experience managing Search Marketing, marketing database, email, social media, SEO and display advertising campaigns with positive, measurable results.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Understand paid advertising on social and how to build engaging communities on social.
• Informed on how to research where audiences are, what type of creative will most appeal to them and have good analytic capabilities to ensure the paid social ads are delivering a strong return on investment.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking with experience in analytics and data analysis tools, such as Google Analytics.

Secondary Requirements:

• Experience with A/B testing and multivariate experiments with some knowledge of UX UI.
• Understanding of conversion rate optimization (landing pages, banners, funnel) techniques and tools.
• Understanding of tracking technologies e.g., analytic pixels, cookies etc.
• Project management and organizational skills.
• Experience in the education sector and international student recruitment.
