Procurement Officer - (Medical Products)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Procurement Officer with knowledge and skills in procurement planning, supplier evaluation, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining compliance with organizational policies.

Responsibilities:

• Source and purchase medical products, equipment, and consumables from approved suppliers.
• Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate contracts and purchase terms.
• Prepare and process purchase orders accurately and on time.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouses and departments to prevent stock shortages.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and evaluate supplier performance.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Maintain procurement records, contracts, invoices, and documentation.

Requirements:

• Higher studies in procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Fluent in English.
• Knowledge of inventory management and vendor management practices.
• Previous experience or strong knowledge of medical equipment, instruments, or consumables is highly preferred.
• Good understanding of hospital and healthcare procurement processes
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and conduct customer visits
• Strong coordination skills to work with international and local suppliers.
