Software QA Engineer (Manual & Automation)

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Software QA Engineer with 3–4 years of hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in test case design, execution, defect tracking, and performance testing, ensuring high-quality software delivery in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases and test scenarios based on requirements.
• Perform manual testing to identify defects and ensure system quality.
• Develop, execute, and maintain test scripts.
• Perform bug tracking, reporting, and verification using standard tools.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand system requirements.
• Execute regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
• Participate actively in Scrum/Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).
• Ensure adherence to QA processes, standards, and best practices.
• Continuously improve test processes and automation coverage.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong experience in manual testing and test case design & execution.
• Experience in bug tracking & reporting tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla).
• Familiarity with Scrum/Agile methodologies.
• Basic to intermediate programming knowledge in SQL.
• Basic understanding of API technologies such as JSON.
• Understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
