Technician

Job Description

We are hiring a technician on behalf of our client company.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance of tobacco processing machines.
• Maintain technical loss time within target levels.
• Maintain die changing and set times within target levels.
• Optimize spare parts consumption while ensuring machine reliability and availability .
• Perform effective day to day troubleshooting and root cause problem solving to minimize machine downtime.
• Maintain accurate and up to date records relevant to machine maintenance.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with STG safety standards and company policies.

Requirements:

• Passed G.C.E A/L examination.
• Successfully completed a full-time course at CGTI in Millwright fitter, Power Electrician, Industrial mechatronics, Electrician or an equivalent qualification.
• Possession of NVQ level 4 or higher vocational qualification.
• Sound knoledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic systems including PLC.
• Minimum of two years experience in manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
