We are seeking a proactive and analytical Credit Analyst to join our client company's finance Team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the company's client's credit worthiness, evaluating financial risks, and supporting lending and funding decisions that contribute directly to the company’s overall capital strategy.
You will also play a key role in strengthening credit evaluation frameworks for both internal entities and external clients, enhancing data validation accuracy and refining financial analysis systems to enable faster, smarter, and more reliable decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive credit and financial analyses of clients, including financial-statement reviews, ratio analysis, and cash-flow assessments.
Evaluate credit metrics and risks, verify client information where necessary, and prepare detailed management reports for review.
Support data-validation processes with lenders and creditors during funding cycles to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency of financial data.
Monitor and assess existing credit exposures, providing data-driven insights to enhance credit profiles.
Develop and refine credit-scoring models, evaluation tools, and internal policies to improve decision-making efficiency.
Collaborate closely with funding consultants, funding strategists, treasury, and finance Teams to align credit assessments with broader capital strategies.
Prepare and maintain accurate credit reports, documentation, and periodic portfolio performance reviews.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification preferred).
CFA qualification or candidacy is a strong advantage.
Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, data interpretation, and risk analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and collaborative tools such as Miro.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly and concisely.
Strong attention to detail, organizational ability, and time-management skills, with a proven track record of performing effectively in a remote, fast-paced environment.
Prior experience in treasury or funding operations will be considered an advantage.
