Job Description
Responsibilities:
Preparing, negotiating and analyzing costs for tenders and contracts
Preparing & reviewing tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, progress claims and payment certificates
Liaising with the client and other construction professionals such as project managers,engineers, consultants etc.
Handling Monthly progress bills from the point of measuring the work up to the point of receipt of payment
Advising on a range of legal, contractual and sensitive issues
Be responsible to ensure that all operations are carried out to control costs, maximizing value, minimizing future liabilities and maintaining the required standard of quality
Provide reports on actual costs vs estimate, identifying underlying reasons for any variance, in particular highlight, challenge & resolve variance to latest plans
Provide general forecasting & estimating and performing budgetary controls.
Requirements:
B.SC in Quantity Surveying.
Minimum 5 years' experience in relevant field.
Experience in MEP construction is mandatory.
Excellent knowledge of cost controlling activities.
Excellent communication both verbal and written skills in English
The selected candidate will be required to work at our project site in Maldives.
