Job Description
AKMT Holidays is a luxury travel company specializing in tailor-made travel
experiences across Sri Lanka. We are looking for a detail-oriented
and reliable Finance Executive to manage day-to-day financial
operations, support sales activities, and ensure accurate financial reporting
while maintaining high professional standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle daily accounting entries, payments, and receipts
Prepare invoices, receipts, and credit notes for
clients and agents
Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on
outstanding payments
Coordinate with the sales and reservations teams on
confirmed bookings and payments
Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems
Assist in preparing monthly financial summaries and
reports
Manage supplier payments, hotel payments, and expense
tracking
Support basic budgeting and cost control activities
Ensure compliance with company financial procedures and
policies
Identify and support sales opportunities where
applicable, contributing to commission earnings
Requirements:
Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related
field
Previous experience in finance or accounting (tourism
or service industry experience preferred)
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and
bookkeeping
