Solutions Engineer

Job Description

As a Solutions Engineer-Core Network, you would be working collaboratively on Core Network Domain solutions for our client company. This will be a challenging and interesting role for you if you would like to expand into new horizons.

Responsibilities:

• Understanding customer’s pain points through regular engagement and development of relationships with key stakeholders.
• Converting customer’s requirement into a solution by researching industry trends and positioning company's products such that they bring value to the customer.
• Evaluating new technologies and recommending them for implementation when appropriate.
• Preparation of overall solution, high level design, project scope and challenges which may be encountered and alignment with project delivery engineers.
• Leading technical negotiations with customers on bidding projects including responding to RFP’s & ad-hoc requests by preparing respective bills of material and solution proposals.
• Supporting commercial negotiation activities with customers by preparing quotations, analyzing offers to identify optimization points to align with customer budgets.
• Reporting and obtaining of management approval during the bidding progress and follow-up on project delivery until the closure of the project.
• Overseeing ongoing projects to ensure that agreed scope and deliverables are implemented while managing changes due to new requirements.

Requirements:

• You possess a professional background with a Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunication/Electronics Engineering or related field of study with minimum 2 years’ experience handling Core Network Solutions such as Network Virtualization, Kubernetes, 4G/5G Core, HLR/HSS, CS/VoLTE/VoNR, Signaling and related security protocols.
• You have experience in pre-sales or delivery of Core Network products above.
• You have business acumen to understand customer needs, industry trends and business implications of proposed solutions.
• You possess good knowledge on the functions of MS Excel and have strong analytical skills.
• You possess the ability to multi-task and handle multiple requirements in a fast-paced changing environment.
• You are a team player, self-motivated, result-oriented and able to carry out tasks with minimal supervision.
• You are excellent in communication in English with good interpersonal skills to work and adapt to a multi-cultural work environment.
