Student Counsellor

Job Description

One of our clients in the industry of modern study abroad consultancy is on the lookout for an experienced Student Counsellor to join their growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide professional and ethical counselling to students exploring study options across Australia, the UK and New Zealand.
• Evaluate students' academic and career backgrounds to recommend suitable universities, courses and pathways.
• Assist students throughout the process from application and documentation to financial planning and visa guidance.
• Maintain and update student records and CRM systems for accurate tracking and reporting.
• Coordinate with international partner universities to monitor application progress and admissions timelines.
• Participate in education fairs, webinars, ad promotional activities to enhance brand presence and student engagement.
• Work collaboratively with management to meet monthly application and conversion targets, ensuring a premium student experience.

Requirements:

• HND or Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in student counselling or the international education industry.
• Strong understanding of university admission and visa processes for Australia, the UK and New Zealand.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• A motivated, target-driven, and detail-oriented professional passionate about student success.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative face-paced work environment.
