As a Configuration Technician, you will be responsible for the configuration of systems before customers get the systems handed to them. You will be the final step between the installation and delivering a perfectly configured system to the end user without exceptions.
Responsibilities:
Work systematically through your Configuration Tickets by priority.
Configure company systems for Video and POS.
Use your skills to configure the systems in a timely manner with a focus on quality and delivery.
Document the configuration in Zendesk clearly and concisely.
Complete QCs.
Hand off to the customer a perfectly configured system without exception.
Take incoming calls or make outgoing calls to the onsite technicians and assist remotely.
Collaborate with the Project Manager in the case of any defective parts, go backs or other items.
Identify potential process or documentation breaks and report them back to your supervisor for remediation.
Be self-driven with your workflow, but able to collaborate as part of a team to find common solutions to any problems which may occur.
Daily management of your tickets.
Requirements:
Competent in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook Proficient in English.
Well organized with systematic processes.
Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple tasks.
Good knowledge of network based components.
Effective communication.
Flexibility to work during early or late hours.
