We’re on the lookout for a full-time Demand Planning Executiveto join our team on-site in Dehiwala. This isn’t just a “do your tasks and go home” kind of role. We want someone who thrives on solving problems, isn’t afraid to speak up with new ideas (right or wrong), and genuinely cares about making things better every single day.
As a Demand Planner, you’ll dive deep into sales data, spot patterns others miss, predict future demand, and make sure our clients never have to worry about stockouts or excess inventory. You’ll collaborate with Account Managers, Operations, and Clients, while bringing your own insights to the table to push the team forward.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze historical sales data, market trends, seasonality, and promotions to create accurate demand forecasts.
Partner with Account Managers, Operations, and Clients to ensure forecasts match business goals.
Spot anomalies, forecast errors, and hidden patterns to continuously improve models.
Maintain SKU-level forecasting across global marketplaces (Amazon, Shopify, etc.).
Work hands-on with Google Sheets, Excel, and forecasting tools to track and visualize data.
Deliver clear insights and recommendations to both clients and internal teams.
Collaborate with supply planners and procurement to align purchasing with forecasted demand.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field.
2+ years of experience in demand planning or forecasting, ideally in e-commerce or retail.
Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, formulas, data modeling).
Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central, ERP systems, or inventory tools is a plus.
Strong communicator who can work across teams and manage multiple client accounts.
Detail-oriented, analytical, and driven by ownership and accountability.
