Lead and manage the national sales team to achieve company sales targets and strategic objectives.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with brand goals.
Manage distributor networks and ensure strong field execution across all regions.
Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify opportunities and threats.
Provide regular reports and insights to the management on sales performance.
Coordinate with marketing and product development teams to align sales initiatives with brand campaigns.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in FMCG sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
A degree or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or a related field. MBA or professional qualifications (e.g. CIM/SLIM) will be an added advantage.
Strong understanding of the FMCG landscape, distribution models, and channel management in Sri Lanka.
Proven leadership and team management ability.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Analytical thinking with a result-oriented mindset.
Proficient in MS Office and sales reporting tools.
