The HR Assistant provides administrative support to the Human
Resources department by assisting with recruitment, employee records, payroll
processing, and other HR-related tasks. This role is key in ensuring smooth and
efficient HR operations while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with day-to-day
operations of the HR functions and duties.
Provide clerical and
administrative support to the HR department.
Maintain employee
records (soft and hard copies).
Process documentation
and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing,
recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, etc.).
Coordinate HR projects
such as meetings, training, surveys, and audits.
Assist in payroll
preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc.).
Schedule interviews,
assist in the recruitment process, and follow up with candidates.
Handle onboarding and
offboarding processes.
Answer employee queries
about HR-related issues.
Support the development
and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
Requirements and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in
Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience as an
HR assistant, staff assistant, or relevant administrative position is a
plus.
Familiarity with HR
software (e.g., HRIS, payroll systems) is an advantage.
Strong computer skills
(MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent organizational
and communication skills.
Ability to maintain
confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
