Job Description

Our client is a 5-star hotel located at Dhiffushi. A local island close to the International Airport, which can be reached within 45 minutes via speedboat or within 2 hours by ferry. A one-of-a-kind island beach hotel with an infinity pool, roof top restaurant, inhouse wellness & spa center, Kid’s Club, Watersports & dive center and a sunset beach. A brand which has been crafted and designed to provide a unique Maldivian cultural experience.

Responsibilities:

• Escort guests to tables and assist in seating at tables; present menus and extend congenialities in accordance to brand standards.
• Provide /maintain the best service to the customers (welcoming the customers greeting and ushering/ directing the customers to the respective reserved tables/assisting and coordinating with kitchen staff regarding any late orders/coordinating with the reception for arrival advice/thanking and bidding farewell to the guests on departure/ Handle customer complaints and solve them quickly or inform the restaurant supervisor immediately).
• Be alert and conversant at all times and be conversant with all emergency procedures.
• Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests, however busy and at whatever time of day.
• Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
• Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.
• Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment.
• Inspect the restaurant environment and entrance area, ensuring that all standards are met; rectify any deficiencies; maintain cleanliness at all times.
• Answer restaurant telephone courteously and within specified brand standards.
• Take record and confirm restaurant reservations/cancellations as specified in brand standards.
• Complete closing duties as assigned, oversee and check the completion of staff's closing duties.
