Reporting to the R & D Manager, the Senior Technician plays a pivotal role in supporting the R&D and Quality Control (QC) functions within the organization. This includes supervising and conducting technical procedures in adherence to the Company’s internal standards. The role involves maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards, and upholding Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and engage in all company R&D and QC procedures in adherence to company internal standards.
Assist in QC testing, development work on related projects, and technical services.
Maintain clear and accurate records following the company Management System.
Ensure laboratory equipment is in good working order and conduct equipment calibration as required.
Maintain the R&D and QC labs in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
Follow company EHS guidelines and contribute to a safe workplace.
Support the TM department with technical field trials across all company products, as assigned by the R&D Manager.
Maintain good housekeeping practices within the lab working area.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
Strong technical expertise in R&D, quality control, and laboratory practices.
Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 standards and company internal procedures is a distinct advantage.
Good understanding of laboratory equipment maintenance and calibration.
Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
