We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to help ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our next-generation HR SaaS platform. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented QA professional who thrives in agile, fast-paced development environments and is passionate about building defect-free applications. As a key member of our QA team, you will work closely with product managers, developers, and UI/UX designers to establish and execute comprehensive testing strategies for our scalable, cloud-based HR solutions.
Responsibilities:
Develop, plan, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on user stories and business requirements.
Collaborate across teams, working with product managers, developers, UI/UX designers, and business stakeholders to define testing strategies.
Review requirement specifications and technical design documents, providing critical feedback to enhance application quality.
Perform functional, regression, UI, API, and integration testing to ensure a seamless and high-quality user experience.
Log and track software defects using Jira, Confluence, or equivalent bug-tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution.
Evaluate test results, analyze defects, and provide detailed reports to enhance application coverage.
Become a subject matter expert (SME) for the QA processes within our HR SaaS platform.
Contribute to automation efforts, working with test automation frameworks to improve testing efficiency.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst, preferably in a SaaS or HR technology environment.
Hands-on experience with software automation testing and frameworks.
Deep understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, integration, and regression testing.
Experience in Agile development environments, with knowledge of Scrum/Kanban principles.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Attention to detail and a passion for delivering defect-free, high-quality software.
Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar ticketing tools for test case management and bug tracking.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using Cucumber and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies.
Prior experience working on greenfield development projects and testing applications from the ground up.
Experience in HR software solutions, workforce management platforms, or payroll systems.
Understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure and SaaS testing best practices.
