Job Description

We are a group of companies providing professional services. Due to our expansion plans we need the services of a junior lawyer to join our team of professionals.

Requirements:

• Be a recently qualified Attorney-at-Law & Notary Public.
• Have around 1.5-2 years of experience in any of the following areas (intellectual property law, Labour law, trademarks, company law, investment law (Board of Investment, Colombo Port City) and notarial work.
• Be bilingual with a good working knowledge of English, both written and oral.
• Have good IT skills.

Responsibilities:

• The work will involve drafting of agreements, legal research, company secretarial work, registering of trademarks, obtaining government approvals for projects, land registry searches etc.
