The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a crucial role in the sales process by providing thorough product demonstrations, crafting compelling tender responses, and conducting lead generation calls. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, sales acumen, and exceptional communication skills to effectively engage with potential clients and stakeholders. The SDR will collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to align initiatives with company goals and customer needs.
Responsibilities:
Lead engaging product demonstrations tailored to specific client needs and pain points.
Support the lead sales person in any closing related activities
Collaborate with product development teams to ensure a deep understanding of product features and benefits.
Gather and analyze feedback during product demonstrations to inform product improvements and sales strategies.
Prepare and deliver high-quality, customized tender responses that effectively showcase the company’s solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and ensure compliance with tender requirements.
Maintain a repository of standard responses and templates to streamline the tender response process.
Conduct proactive outbound lead generation calls to identify potential clients and generate interest in product offerings.
Engage prospects by articulating value propositions and aligning product features with their business objectives.
Maintain accurate records of calls and follow-up actions in the CRM system to track progress and outcomes.
Work closely with the sales team to develop and implement presales strategies that drive revenue growth.
Participate in sales meetings and strategy sessions to share insights and discuss market trends.
Support marketing efforts by providing feedback on promotional materials and participating in trade shows and events.
Participate in all sales or organisational lead training to enhance your sales skill
Train staff as needed, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product developments, and competitive landscape to ensure a position as a trusted advisor in presales activities.
Requirements:
