Direct the cylinder requalification operations for company gas, prioritizing efficiency, safety and adherence to regulatory standards.
Ensure strict compliance with industry regulations and safety standards, including conducting regular inspections and audits to maintain a safe work environment.
Develop and manage budgets for engineering projects and departmental operations ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control.
Drive innovation by leading the design and development of advanced engineering solutions that meet both functional and safety standards.
Mentor and develop a high performing engineering team to foster talent growth and a culture of excellence.
Promote and integrate sustainable practices across engineering projects to support the company's environmental and sustainability goals.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or related field).
Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
Minimum 10-12 years of experience in engineering with at least 5 years in a leadership or senior management role.
Membership in relevant engineering bodies (e.g. IESL, PE) is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of engineering project management, design principles and industry standards.
Developing a business development strategy focused on financial gain.
Excellent understanding of regulatory and safety standards, particularly in the gas and energy sector.
Proven expertise in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
Proficient in engineering software tools, AutoCAD SAP, and project management tools.
Strong leadership, team management and mentoring abilities.
Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
