Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
Act as the primary point of contact for prospective students, providing information about academic programs, admissions, and campus life.
Offer personalized counselling sessions to help students identify their goals, make informed decisions, and navigate their educational paths.
Guide prospective students through the application process, explaining admission requirements, deadlines, and necessary documentation.
Review application materials, verify eligibility, and provide feedback to applicants as needed.
Assist admitted students with the enrollment process, including guiding registration, course selection, and class scheduling.
Coordinate with academic advisors and other departments to ensure a smooth transition for incoming students.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement recruitment strategies, including attending fairs, hosting information sessions, and conducting outreach.
Prepare and distribute informative materials, such as brochures and newsletters, to effectively communicate program offerings and events.
Assist in organizing campus events, workshops, and seminars that promote student engagement and support recruitment efforts.
Maintain accurate records of student interactions and feedback to inform marketing strategies and improve counselling services.
Gather insights from students to help enhance program offerings and marketing initiatives.
Provide information on financial aid options, scholarships, grants, and tuition payment plans to prospective and admitted students.
Represent the university at recruitment events, college fairs, and information sessions to promote enrollment opportunities and answer questions from prospective students.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student interactions, applications, and enrollment status in the university's database.
Generate reports and analyze enrollment data to support decision-making.
Collaborate with admissions team members, academic departments, and student services to ensure a coordinated and student-centred enrollment process.
Participate in student orientation programs and assist in welcoming new students to the university community.
Stay informed about changes in admission policies, programs, and university offerings to provide accurate and up-to-date information to students.
Qualification and Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in student counselling, admissions, or marketing, preferably in an educational setting.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing student records and application materials.
Knowledge of admissions processes, enrollment procedures, and financial aid options.
Proficiency in using databases, CRM systems, Microsoft Office suite, digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing student concerns.
Empathy and understanding of the challenges faced by students in higher education.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM systems is a plus.
