Duties & esponsibilities

● WritingAPI Automated test scripts using industry-standard tools.

● Integrate automated test scripts in the CI/CD pipeline.

● Involved in performance testing to evaluate system performance under varying conditions.

● TestManagementandDefect Management.

● Maintainquality standards and metrics developed in-house.

● Working with all stakeholders to ensure that the quality metrics are reviewed, closed, and agreed upon.

● Maketheteamawareofthequality metrics and resolve all the queries.

● Createcomprehensive test documentation.

● Comeupwithestimates, prioritise, plan, and coordinate QA activities.

● Defining processes for the test plan and several phases of the testing cycle.

● Workclosely ontheproject deadlines to ensure the team is focusing on Automation and Manual testing.

● Setprocesses for test plan reviews and ensure that test plans get reviewed by all stakeholders.

● Review test strategies and see that all the various kinds of testing, such as unit, functional, performance, stress, acceptance, and security, are covered.

● SetQuality standards for the teams in various new testing technologies in the industry.

● Setting upgoals and objectives for QA Engineers and guiding junior QA members.

● Leadingateamoftesters and taking responsibility for the quality of their work.

● Developing an end-to-end Automation strategy in line with the strategic vision and product roadmap

Qualification & Experience 

● 3-5yearsofexperience in Test Automation. 

● Experience with Performance testing tools and frameworks such as JMeter, and K6. 

 ● Experience in API Automation with Postman. 

 ● Familiarity with CI/CD tools (canary) and test management tools (Jira, TestRail). 

 ● Agoodunderstanding of design principles and writing clean test code. 

 ● Experience in version control systems like Bitbucket. 

 ● Buganalysis is used to increase test coverage in critical areas. 

 ● Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies. 

 ● Extensive knowledge of Cloud applications. 

 ● Knowledgeofapplication testing/security testing is a plus. 

 ● Previousworking experience with offshore clients. 

 ● Excellent oral and written communication skills.
