As a Business Analyst specializing in EAM implementation, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders, technical teams, and end-users to ensure the EAM system meets business requirements and enhances operational efficiency.
Requirement Gathering & Analysis:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
Analyze and translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications.
Process Mapping & Improvement:
Conduct detailed process mapping to understand current workflows.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the company EAM system.
Solution Design & Validation:
Work with technical consultants to design solutions that meet business requirements.
Validate the solutions through testing and ensure they align with business objectives.
Documentation:
Develop comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and user manuals.
Maintain updated project documentation throughout the implementation lifecycle.
Stakeholder Management:
Act as a liaison between business users, project managers, and technical teams.
Facilitate communication and ensure all stakeholders are informed about project progress and changes.
User Training & Support:
Assist in the development of training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users.
Provide ongoing support to users’ post-implementation to resolve any issues and ensure smooth system operation.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
Coordinate and participate in various testing phases, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Ensure identified issues are documented, prioritized, and resolved promptly.
Change Management:
Support change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of the new system.
Address user concerns and provide guidance during the transition to the new EAM system.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with experience in EAM implementations.
Previous experience with EAM or similar systems is highly desirable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in process mapping and documentation tools.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Relevant certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMP (Project Management Professional) are advantageous.
