The EAM Functional Consultant is responsible for the successful implementation, configuration, and optimization of the EAM system. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their processes and requirements, providing functional expertise, and ensuring that the EAM system meets the organization's needs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with EAM and a deep understanding of business processes in relevant industries.
Requirement Analysis:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
Translate business needs into functional specifications for the company EAM system.
System Configuration:
Configure company EAM modules based on the functional specifications and business processes.
Ensure that the system configuration aligns with business requirements and industry best practices.
Process Optimization:
Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement.
Design and implement optimized business processes using company EAM functionalities.
Testing & Validation:
Develop and execute test plans to ensure that the configured system meets business requirements.
Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
User Training & Support:
Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users.
Provide ongoing support to users during and after the implementation phase.
Documentation:
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, and user guides.
Ensure that all changes and configurations are well-documented.
Stakeholder Communication:
Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure effective communication.
Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates on project progress.
Post-Implementation Support:
Provide post-implementation support to ensure smooth transition and system adoption.
Troubleshoot and resolve any functional issues that arise after go-live.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with the latest company EAM features and industry trends.
Recommend and implement system enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
In-depth knowledge of company modules and functionalities.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Functional Consultant or similar role, preferably with experience in EAM implementations.
Strong understanding of business processes and how they are supported by EAM systems.
Proficiency in configuring EAM modules (e.g., finance, supply chain, HR).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create detailed documentation and training materials.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Relevant certifications in EAM systems, such as SAP, or Oracle, are advantageous.
