Job Description

The EAM Technical Consultant is responsible for the technical implementation, customization, and optimization of the company EAM system. This role requires working closely with business stakeholders and functional consultants to deliver technical solutions that meet business requirements. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical experience with EAM, including development, integration, and system administration.

System Configuration & Customization:

• Configure and customize the company EAM system based on the functional specifications provided by business analysts.
• Develop and modify EAM modules, forms, reports, and workflows to fit business needs.

Integration & Data Migration:

• Design and implement integration solutions to connect the company EAM system with other enterprise applications.
• Plan and execute data migration strategies to ensure accurate and efficient transfer of data from legacy systems to the new EAM system.

Technical Support & Trouble Shooting:

• Provide technical support during the implementation phase, addressing any issues that arise.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems promptly to minimize project delays.

System Testing and Quality Assurance:

• Participate in various testing phases, including unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Ensure that all customizations and configurations meet quality standards and perform as expected.

Documentation:

• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and troubleshooting manuals.
• Document any custom code, integrations, and modifications made to the EAM system.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Work closely with business analysts, functional consultants, and project managers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Communicate technical concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

Training & Knowledge Transfer:

• Provide technical training to internal IT staff and end-users to ensure they are proficient in using and maintaining the EAM system.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a technical consultant or in a similar role involving EAM systems.
• Proven experience with EAM or other EAM systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical roles related to EAM.
• Strong experience with technical tools and frameworks, including Developer Studio.
• Proven experience in system integration, customization, and development.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Certification in EAM or other relevant EAM systems.
• Experience with cloud-based EAM solutions.
• Knowledge of business processes across various industries.
