The EAM Technical Team Lead is responsible for leading a team of technical consultants in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company EAM system. This role involves managing technical projects, coordinating with business stakeholders, and providing technical expertise to ensure the EAM system meets the organization’s needs. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical experience with EAM, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of successful EAM system management.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of EAM technical consultants.
Assign tasks and responsibilities, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
Technical Implementation:
Lead the technical implementation of the company EAM system, including installation, configuration, and deployment.
Develop customizations and extensions to meet specific business requirements using company development tools.
Integrate company EAM with other systems and applications.
System Administration:
Administer and maintain the EAM system, ensuring optimal performance & availability.
Perform system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance tasks.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
Development & Customization:
Design and develop custom reports, interfaces, and workflows within the company EAM system.
Write and maintain technical documentation for customizations and integrations.
Ensure that customizations adhere to best practices and do not affect system integrity.
Support & Troubleshooting:
Provide technical support to end-users and functional consultants.
Resolve technical issues and provide guidance on system usage.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent recurring issues.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with the latest EAM updates, tools, and technologies.
Identify and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and user experience.
Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project status and technical issues.
Participate in project planning and provide technical expertise to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in technical roles related to EAM.
At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or team leading role.
Strong experience with technical tools and frameworks, including company Developer Studio.
Proven experience in system integration, customization, and development.
Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and database management.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C#, or similar.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
Experience with web services, APIs, and other integration technologies.
Familiarity with EAM architecture and technical components.
EAM technical certification or other relevant certifications.
Experience with other EAM systems and technical consulting.
Knowledge of business processes in industries such as manufacturing, supply chain, finance, or others relevant to the company.
