We have a job opening for a Junior Legal Assistant to provide day to day assistant to the Management team in their with overall legal and administrative support duties.
Responsibilities:
Investigate case facts to ensure the consideration of all relevant information.
Identify appropriate materials, legal articles, judicial decisions, and laws for assigned cases.
Organize, analyze, and compile information.
Collect and record exhibits.
Develop written statements.
Draft legal arguments for lawsuits.
Track and organize files from case documents to facilitate access and availability.
Draft separation agreements, mortgages, and contracts.
Perform legal and background research when requested.
Requirements:
Knowledge of family law, contract law and litigation, with some investment compliance duties.
2 to 4 years post qualification family law work experience.
Familiarity with laws, legal procedures and protocols, and the court system.
Computer literacy and satisfactory knowledge of daily operations of a legal office.
Candidates graduated with Law Degree.
Good written and verbal communication.
Note-taking and outlining best practices.
Time management.
Stay dedicated and focused.
The ability to collect and analyze information.
