As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding organization's systems and data from cyber threats. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security measures, conducting security assessments, and responding to security incidents. Your expertise in cybersecurity technologies, risk assessment, and incident response will contribute to this role and provides an opportunity to gain valuable experience and grow as a Cyber Security Engineering professional.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement cyber security solutions to protect the organization's systems and data from unauthorized access, threats, and vulnerabilities.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and security audits to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
Monitor and analyze security events, including network traffic, logs, and security alerts, to detect and respond to potential security incidents.
Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and develop remediation plans to prevent future occurrences.
Stay up to date with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and technologies, and provide recommendations for enhancing the organization's security posture.
Conduct security awareness and product training sessions
Participate in the evaluation and selection of security products, tools, and services
Pre sales and Post sales support / engagements / POC implementations
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
In-depth knowledge of network security technologies, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, and secure protocols (e.g., SSL/TLS).
Experience with security assessment tools and techniques, including vulnerability scanning and log analysis.
Understanding of web application security, and cloud security concepts.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex systems to identify security weaknesses and recommend appropriate solutions.
Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to a dynamic and evolving IT environment.
Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks while seeking guidance when needed..
