The Role
The Bowling Manager is responsible for the overall Bowling Center including staff, daily operations of the bowling alley. Inventory and management of booking and the premises. The Bowling Manager should be able to plan and work closely with the technical and operational staff and manage parties, special events, weekly promotions, and scheduling of staff.
• Plans and coordinates work activities necessary to operate the bowling center.
• Should have adequate IT and mechanical knowledge and be savvy with technology
• Should be able to manage IT networks installed at the center.
• Should have sound techno mechanical knowledge
• Shall be responsible for managing upgrading, operations and patching of the bowling center software.
• Assigns responsibility areas and work schedules.
• Hires and trains employees in guest service, job skills, safety practices, organization policy and performance requirements.
• Is able to hire and train all supervisors, technicians, electricians, janitors, party hosts and front desk staff through hands on training and coaching throughout the training process.
• Evaluates the performance of the staff and corrects poor performance as immediate and necessary through direct coaching methods, feedback, and positive reinforcement.
• Is able to manage staff on the basis of performance against their job description, poor/inattentive attitude, misconduct, or repetitive violations.
• Is able to fluidly communicate, by written and oral means.
• Is able to delegate and determine priorities on a daily basis.
The Requirements
• 3 -5 years’ experience in a similar operation / showroom / restaurant.
• Fluency in English .
• Should have excellent organization skills and multitasking.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Package
