Inventory Controller / Inventory Control Management

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Controller to manage and monitor inventory levels, stock movements, receiving, storage, and issuing processes. The successful candidate will ensure accurate inventory records, minimize stock discrepancies, and maintain efficient stock management procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily inventory control and stock management activities.
• Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods and materials.
• Maintain accurate records of stock receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock availability.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile them with system records.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, handling, and organization of inventory.
• Monitor stock expiry dates and implement FIFO/FEFO procedures where applicable.
• Prepare inventory reports for management.
• Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, finance, kitchen, and other departments.
• Monitor slow-moving, damaged, obsolete, and excess inventory.
• Ensure inventory transactions are properly recorded in ERP/inventory management systems.
• Support periodic and annual stock audits.
• Maintain proper documentation for all inventory movements.
• Ensure compliance with company inventory policies and internal controls.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in inventory control, stock management, warehouse operations, or a related field.
• Experience using inventory management or ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of stock control and inventory reconciliation.
• Good numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Inventory Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in hospitality, catering, FMCG, retail, or large-scale operations will be an added advantage.
